Teemu Tapanila on Windows Phone Development and AppCampus

Going straight to the source of Windows Phone Mobile Application Development I talked to my friend Teemu Tapanila, a true Guru (yes that’s his official title) at AppCampus, in Nokia home-country in Finland.

• Teemu shared a lot of good and useful advice on good Windows Phone Application Development. We talked about the state of Windows Phone and Windows 8 applications – which we generally consider have lots of room for improvement.
• We cover the use of Windows Azure Mobile Services “Backend as a Service” for Mobile Application Developers who want an easy and powerful way to connect Mobile Applications to others and store and share data in the Cloud.
• We talked about App Campus, a three year long committment from Aalto University, Nokia and Microsoft to fund application development for Windows Phone Applications.
