This Friday I had a great talk over Lync with, WCF and BizTalk super star and book author Rick Garibay from Neudesic. He was in California and I was in Sweden for the recording so we had nine hour time difference. We ended up covering a lot of ground in this interview;
· Neuron ESB – a product from Neudesic which simplifies messaging and service enablement for your line-of-business and Web services integration efforts.
· His book; Microsoft Windows Server AppFabric Cookbook, co-authored with Hammad Rajjoub.
· A recent Microsoft case study from Xerox Corporation where Neudesic was a big part of realizing a Windows Azure and Service Bus based solution that ends up saving a ton of money for trucking good around the US as well as potentially saving lives. Immagine doing work that saves lives. Save the world by software!
· Plus Rick shares a kind of violent story from a previous life before he became a BizTalk and WCF master.
I keep saying VCF and not WCF in this interview but I wind up correcting myself after a while. Reason for this is that in Swedish V and W quite often sound the same and in Swedish you would not say “doub-C-F” but rather VCF.
Hope you enjoy this interview – Rick was a very good interviewee so it should really be well worth a listen!
